About Bitcoin Gaza

An independent educational project promoting financial literacy and responsible Bitcoin usage in Gaza and Palestine.

Bitcoin Gaza is a project by and for the Palestinian community—education, resources, and a path to economic liberty through cryptocurrency.

Our story

Bitcoin Gaza was founded by a computer science student who was born and raised in Gaza. Like many peers, they faced the difficulties of studying in a region impacted by political conflict. The challenging circumstances in Gaza made it impossible to finish their studies, but their passion for technology never diminished.

Discovering Bitcoin

In 2013, they were introduced to Bitcoin. From that moment on, they understood its potential to transform the future and support the financial independence of Palestinians. The Bitcoin community has grown steadily in Gaza and Palestine over the years—driven by the need for economic liberty. The traditional banking system in Gaza is not only unreliable but often inaccessible because of corruption and conflict. Constant wars and financial instability have led many Palestinians to look for alternatives. Bitcoin has become one of those lifelines.

Why we believe in cryptocurrency

BitcoinGaza.com believes that cryptocurrency offers more than a way to invest—it’s a means to financial independence for people with limited access to the global financial system. Bitcoin is an alternative to governments and intermediaries in a place where there is little trust in banks and corruption is rampant. It has become an essential tool for many to survive and build a better tomorrow.

Our mission

BitcoinGaza.com aims to provide the Palestinian community with the education and resources needed to use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. We empower individuals through workshops, online resources, and local events—so that more people in Gaza and Palestine can access, understand, and benefit from the possibilities of digital currency.
